The American dream is the hope of fame, fortune and a successful way of life. Willy Lowman has a constant desire of attaining this. It is so important to him that he doesn’t want to admit that he has lost at trying to live the American dream and continues with false hopes and illusions. Willy relives proud moments in his life while daydreaming, he mixes his fantasies with reality to feel more accomplished and successful.
