We all like to look at good-looking people and often we are envious of what we see. America has become obsessed with the �ideal body�. Especially weight seems to be a major factor in how we see others and ourselves, male or female. Ads have without a doubt, contributed to the desire to look like the models often depicted in them. Modern Advertising is an annual multi-billion Dollar business in America. Advertising is everywhere - in magazines, on television, in movie theaters, on countless web pages, on busses, in subways and on milk-cartons. In fact, advertisements are so common in our times that we don�t even realize we are looking at them anymore.
