What is the purpose of learning? Webster�s dictionary describes it as the cognitive process of acquiring skill or knowledge. Subsequently, it goes beyond what the dictionary has to offer. Since the dawn when man first walked this earth as an Australopithecus learning has been apart of life. Overtime, through the learning process we developed the ability to adapt to various circumstances in order to survive and with that gained several new perspectives as time progressed. The ability to use our minds in ways that make life more efficient has allowed our human species to survive and steadily increases our knowledge of the world we live in past, present and future. With the acquisitions of new skills the human race developed into a Homo sapiens sapiens and with that expanded their ability to learn. In our present situation in this not so modern era we have developed a method of preserving humanities quest for knowledge.
