Memorial Impact Although people do not like the idea of making mistakes or taking a loss it is also important to never forget those losses in hopes that something similar can be prevented in the future. In order to keep the memory of a not so pleasant event alive, societies make memorials. Memorials are typically made in the memory of some huge loss that a civilization has sustained. It is important to remember that for different societies different themes prevail in their memories. Memorials are responsible for history not only being remembered for the facts, but also for the emotional impact. History is mainly taught in three different ways. First off and most common there are the lessons that students read in books. Although this type of learning is typically the most boring, a lot of good facts come with it.
