Puritan Essay The Puritans were an extremely religious posse of people. They had a superior faith and strong beliefs. Their strong faith gave them the will to set out to the New World and establish their own colony of religious freedom. Doing so, the Puritans were faced with many asperities. Their faith made it feasible for them to survive these set backs. The Puritan�s strong religious faith is shown in William Bradford�s narrative, Of Plymouth Plantation. The power of the Puritan faith is comes into place during a scarce time in the puritans were in good health. The remaining Puritans were ill due to a lack of not beginning of their arrival to the New World. Of the few Puritans that survived the voyage, only seven Puritans. In addition, the sailors from the voyage became sick also. The sailors did not care for one another and would have been left to die alone. Regardless of the cruelty that was put upon the Puritans during the voyage, they aided to the sailors as well.
