Every week I fill up my car with gas which comes from crude oil. Oil is the most important resource on this planet because every country needs oil to go anywhere. There are many drilling vessels and many are spread out between many different oceans and oil fields. With each vessel pumping at full speed every day, reaching the peak of the oil supply is bound to happen in the next decade. In �The End of Cheap Oil�, written by Tim Appenzeller, he wrote about a visit to the Discover Enterprise which is a drilling platform located a hundred and twenty miles southeast of New Orleans in the Gulf of Mexico. In this essay, Appenzeller talks about the locations of big oil finds, the countries that have the most oil, the countries who use the most oil, and about the end of cheap oil.
