Defining Marketing Paper The first thought that comes to mind when I think about the definition of marketing, is the plot behind the movie Jerry Maguire. If I remember correctly, Jerry was the best of the best at being a sporting agent. He worked for an agency that marketed their services behind the motto of; �we will do anything it takes to get the biggest possible contracts for our clients�, and did exactly that, from what I remember. Unfortunately, Jerry had is own idea for marketing his services and ended up leaving his successful career to pursue this new idea. Jerry thought that if he built a good relationship with the people he is working with, and for, that he could be just as successful and feel better about the service he was providing and his overall career, as a whole. Personal definition of marketing In my opinion, Jerry Maguire had the right idea.
