Introduction Learning is growing� it is about gaining knowledge that lasts. Wikipedia defines learning as �the process of acquiring knowledge, skills, attitudes, or values, through study, experience, or teaching, that causes a change of behavior that is persistent, measurable, and specified or allows an individual to formulate a new mental construct or revise a prior mental construct� (Wikipedia, n.d.). The facilitation of learning as a complex process is explored by many different theories. They �can be traced back to the ancient Greeks. In the 18th century, with the onset of scientific inquiry, people began � to study and develop models of learning� (Mergel, 1998).
