Greed is such a nasty little word don�t you think? When you think of greed you probably think of things such as money and wealth. There is more to this word than you may think. The true definition is a selfish and excessive desire for more of something than is needed. That could possibly be anything in this world you could ever want more of, including money. Greed is not a good attribute and being greedy is not something you would want to be described as. When someone is described as greedy, you often picture a rich person who just can�t get enough money in his hands. Some people will go out of their way to get more of what they want. What they want could be a number of things such as food, money, nice things, clothing, candy, etc. Greed is usually frowned upon and often makes people change into something many people would call a selfish pig or something of that nature. You do not usually see a greedy person that is not selfish. Also, being greedy does not necessarily mean that you desire a bad thing. You could also want too much of something good.
