Everyday, no matter where you go, advertisements are everywhere, whether they�re on the radio, in a magazine, or even a logo on clothes.. Magazine advertisements in general are really directed towards a specific market. For instance, there wouldn�t be an ad for a Toyota 4Runner in Nickelodeon Magazine. The 4Runner would more than likely be in a car magazine such as Road & Track. Also, since it is portrayed as an outdoorsy, go anywhere and do anything vehicle, the ad features the cars exterior and physical capabilities. Being that the 4Runner is perched upon the side of Mt. Everest, it can specify that the driver is more than likely a camper or adventurer. On the other side of the spectrum would be the Lincoln Navigator. Although the cars capabilities are important, the advertisement focuses on the car�s features and luxury. The Navigators placement in the ad and the time of day, also indicates that the driver may be out on a fancy date or with come classy friends.
