The war between the Americans and the British known as the American Revolution occurred from 1775 to 1783 as an American struggle for independence from Britain. It included numerous battles and resulted in a fair amount of wins and losses on both sides. Historically, the Americans are the ones that won the war but there are many historians today that would disagree. The debate between whether the Americans won the American Revolution or whether the British lost it is an endless dispute carried out today. Careless and overlooked mistakes on the British�s behalf earned them the defeat in the war and if one reviews the facts, it is clear to see how the British lost the war as oppose to saying the Americans won the revolution.
