You would probably hear the birds and the dog, but, chances are, the children are all inside, sitting in front of a television with a bag of potato chips. There is a growing problem in our country that requires a great deal more attention and action than it has received. An epidemic is sweeping over our children that will inevitably drive them to an early grave. I�m talking about child obesity. A large percentage of our children are over weight or obese. We must take action to better the health of the over weight and obese children in our care. What is childhood obesity?
