High school is an open book of possibilities for each and every person who attends it; how far one goes, and how well they do, is up to the individual. I don’t think that high school merely by it self creates an entire foundation for students, many other events contribute and make people into who they are now and who they will become in the future, but it does mold a basis. I can’t say that all experiences are good or bad because it varies from person to person. My high school experiences have been less than perfect and somewhat suppressing. High school always seems to focus on the arithmetic classes that are required of you, and it puts a metaphorical lid on students that, like myself thrive in a creative, imaginative environment. I know that all classes are necessary for the foundation and basic knowledge of students; it just would have made school more enjoyable for me to have more options in electives.
