Nature could warm or cool our bodies, but could it also affect feelings and thoughts? The book Frankenstein was written by Mary Shelley in 1818. The book describes Dr. Frankenstein�s creating of a terrible creature that will haunt him until his final death. The creature is able to learn and know how to seek revenge and soon asks Frankenstein to create another for him to have a companion. Frankenstein knows this cannot be done and knows that the only thing to do is to kill this monster he created before he causes any more damage to human society. On his journey and in the telling of his story the reader learns how nature affects his emotions and thoughts about the events happening around him. Fire and lightening come into play many times for Victor throughout the book. These things could be used as a representation of warning or light, uncovering what is the true identity of a dark shadow or to show the danger in what is happening. An example of how nature helps Victor discover something�s true meaning is, �A flash of lightening illuminated the object and discovered its shape plainl......
