Life during the French Revolution was not easy, but the French Revolution made changes to society to better everyone�s life. Being an impoverished carpenter from Paris, I did not have much money. Since I was part of the Third Estate I paid a lot of taxes and had almost no political power. By having no political power, I was not able to vote for representation or vote to change things to better my life. The social, economic, and political changes over the past three yeas have vastly changed my life and the way I live for the better. I now have property rights, power in the government, and a revamped tax system which allows for fair taxation. Under the new National Assembly, we have a limited monarchy. The King of the French has power but it is very limited by the Legislative Assembly. The seventeenth point in the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen stated that, �Property being an inviolable and sacred right, no one may be deprived of it unless public necessity, legally determined, clearly requires such an action, and then only on condition of a just and prior ind......
