Global warming is an ongoing major issue of which is becoming more and more recognised due to the catastrophic affect that it not only has on earth itself, but also the species that live here. There is no one specific action of global warming that is responsible the world to heat up, but several different actions. For example the Greenhouse Effect could be partially responsible. This process is caused by natural warming, where gases such as carbon dioxide in the air trap heat given from the sun, and keeping it within the earths atmosphere, preventing them from being released back into space, hence the name greenhouse effect, letting heat in but prevents it from escaping. Although this process is also a factor of global warming, it is also a useful process. As if this process was not to happen, the temperature of earth would be an estimated 55-60 degrees Fahrenheit colder.
