Hero is a person who goes through lot of struggles for others. Hero would do anything for other�s happiness even though they die. In the movie, The Iron Giant, there are three main characters who suffer and have been destructed throughout the movie to accomplish others needs and their happiness. The smart young kid Hogarth Hughes, who saves the Iron Giant and teaches him to be a hero like the Superman, which makes himself consider as a hero. The second character who proved to be a hero is the Iron Giant, who saves the town people from a nuclear mass destruction. The third character is the junkyard owner, Mr. Dean, who helps Hogarth to hide the Iron Giant in his garage. However, these are the three characters that became to heroes of the movie. Hogarth is a hero because he goes through lots of struggles in the movie to save the Iron Giant for example: At the beginning of the movie, the young kid went to the forest and saw the Iron Giant.
