We often rely upon the Bill of Rights to ensure us the fairness, for which we are entitled. The pledges that are denoted in the Bill of Rights are the promises that are to be fulfillment for all Americans and by all Americans. Although it is obvious that this promise that is engraved in the law books of our great nation does not apply to all Americans. Our nation is motionless. The laws of our nation are very fraudulent, because of the discriminatory laws generated by our legislature. Those laws deprive the poverty-stricken citizens of their equal rights and opportunities. The rights that are read only pertain to people of wealth. If we look at the Anti-drug Abuse Act of 1986, the whole purpose was to regulate sentencing for drug related offenses. Instead, this Act actually increased racial disparity, reduced gender disparity, and threw many of our minorities into worse economic predicaments. It is hard to be granted a fair trial when you are assumed guilty by society until proven innocent beyond a reasonable doubt. It is impossible to have a jury of your peers in Iowa. In the bo......
