B.B. King Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

“It takes aches out of backs, and burdens off brains” said the famous blues singer B.B. King, referring to music and to the Blues. B.B. King faced many childhood experiences. These early experiences helped to shape his famous music career. The local arts council will be holding an upcoming concert for the famous blues musician B.B King. While B.B. King was younger he faced many life-changing experiences that influenced his music career. When he was younger his great grandmother who was a slave, would tell him the stories involving the Blues. She would tell him of the slaves who would sing the Blues to “unburden their souls.” The slaves would sing the Blues and deliver messages in music code, usually to warn the other slaves of what is to come. The Blues had special sentimental meaning to B.B. King, whose great- grandmother and other slaves would sing to warn and protect themselves. Another experience that occurred in B.B.
