The skill that most people need but do not have is how to be patient. When people are patient, they do not get upset as easily as most people do. They can wait in a line at the store and not get irate when they reach the cashier if it was a long line. They understand that people can only move or do a task so fast. They understand that some people need more help to understand an issue or a project at work. They give these people extra time and directions to ensure that they understand what is needed from them.
If you do not have patients, you tend to get upset by things that are out of your control. If all the lines at the store are to long, you get upset and vent so that other can hear you, and you tend to take it out on the cashier. If traffic is bad you get road rage and it does not help anything to get upset. Impatient people usually are not very happy in my opinion because they don’t enjoy life; they just keep getting mad at silly things. I know people that are patient, like my mother and father-in-law; they hardly ever get upset, they just let things go. My father......
