Affirmative Action The purpose of this assignment is to be able to distinguish the difference in Title VII and Affirmative Action as it applies to the both the public and private workplace. In order to complete this assignment I will have to gain an understanding of what exactly Affirmative Action is, and why it was enacted. Additionally I will need to understand what employers, if any, are subject to the provisions of Affirmative Action, what must employers do to be compliant with the provisions of Affirmative Action, and are there consequences to employers for failure to abide by the provisions of Affirmative Action. Through this assignment I hope to better understand and appreciate why organizations chose to endorse Affirmative Action.
