Martin Luther King Analysis Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

On August 28th 1963, Martin Luther King delivered his awesome speech at Lincoln memorial in Washington defending all the black people of the world. I have looked through the text and after analysing it in great detail, I have found that to add emphasis to his speech he has used a lot of Rhetorical language. I think he did this to make the nation know how much black rights meant to him and how important it was that equality between black and white people was brought to the world. This speech has become extremely famous amongst black people as King went to prison fighting for what he believed in and even when he was released, he carried on fighting for his believes even though that empowering speech and his amazing willpower to fight for his black nation, brought him to his death. The personification used in the speech creates a powerful image for the reader as King is referring to America as ‘her’ not ‘it’. ‘It’s obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of colour are concerned.’ This powerful imagery creates by King shows how much he ......
