My view on the influence of class size on education There are some independent variables which affect the quality of education, such as; class size, gender, parents� education, number of reading materials at home, race and ethnicity�etc. Many researchers have looked at the relationship between class size and student achievement, and its possible influences on educational practice. According to the U.S. Department of Education, "A growing body of research demonstrates that students attending small classes make more rapid educational progress than students in larger classes, and that these achievement gains persist well after students move on to larger classes in later grades."
