Immigration in America, as viewed by Reich, does have an effect on the economy; it is not a helpful sign, yet, it doesn�t have to be a danger to our economy, in addition many people in this nation see immigration as a positive effect, as well as a negative one. Immigration has been part of our nation from the beginning and right now it is bigger than ever. As our nation gets more prosperous, the more our nation will receive immigrants looking for a better life. Immigration is not good thing for our economy; it has a big effect on job opportunities. As the immigrants pour into the country they take jobs away from those native born Americans. for it is already hard enough to get a good job, the more people competing for these jobs, the more difficult one is to get. In Reich�s writing it is estimated that between the 1980�s and the end of the century, about 25% of all the workers in the American labor force will be immigrants (Reich,427). This is a big percentage and one that can take an immediate effect in our economy as it has already done. The more people who are jobless ......
