�Stone Cold� was a fascinating book to read, and gave me such an insight to what it is like being homeless. Throughout the book I was kept in suspense, and Robert Swindells came up with a very creative, very exciting plot. The book starts off, �You can call me Link� which I think is a very clever way to start the book, because you can tell Link is going to be the main-character, and from then on it makes the reader feel like he knows Link. Link used to live an ordinary life. A mum, a dad, a sister. His life was normal. But then his life took a big turn. His dad left, and his mum found a new boyfriend called Vince. Link hated Vince from the moment he saw him. One day Link came home to something he wasn�t expecting. Vince and his mum were inside, and Vince locked Link out of the house. He didn�t let Links mum open the door, so link was forced away. He went to his sister Carole�s house for the night and ended up staying there for a few more days. Carole had a boyfriend and Link could see that he was getting annoyed with Link being there and so one day Link decided ......
