Brittany Cistrunk English 105-13 All Skinny Women Are Starve Themselves In today�s society the ideal woman is seen as a model, very tall and skinny. Many women who are in the spotlight such as models and actresses go through drastic measures to stay thin. Women who are thin are often stereotyped and assumed to have an eating disorder just because of what others see in the media. This stereotype is not true because a lot of women are thin through genetics or just plain diet and exercise. People in America may argue that all skinny women do starve themselves because of everyday observations that they see from thin women. For example skinny women are often the majority of the ones who are dieting and constantly excursing. They are also the only ones shown with the eating disorders because of their drastic results. Also when stories of eating disorders are seen on the news or talk shows the victim was most likely already thin.
