In his article �Quitting the Paint Factory,� Mark Slouka states that ones motivation to work hard has to do with a covenant of works that tells us that hard work is what we desire most and even stranger that hard work will save us. I disagree that ones motivation to work hard has to do with self salvation but that ones motivation t work starts as a child. Boys that grow up with fathers tend to be more productive and motivated than those that don�t. I am a perfect example of this. When I was 6 years old my parents got divorced. It was soon after their divorce that I started acting up in school. In grade 3 I was expelled from elementary school for bad behavior and refusing to do my work. Even today I have issues with motivation for example, this essay was due 3 weeks ago and I am only now starting to write it. Boys without fathers aren�t as productive as those with fathers. Traditionally fathers have motivated their children to accept societal responsibility. There has been an increasing amount of homes without fathers. In a 1986 census done in Canada it is shown......
