Journey of Life The poem, �The Road Not Taken,� by Robert Frost, is about a narrator telling the journey of life. The traveler comes across a moment that is going to predict his future. The narrator encounters a point on his travel that diverges into two similar but separate paths. The narrator either has to choose the common route that everyone takes or the less traveled path. The Road Not Taken" consists of four stanzas of five lines. The rhyme scheme is ABAAB; the rhymes are strict and masculine, with the notable exception of the last line. In �The Road Not Taken,� the speakers� tone and setting help illustrate the struggle a person goes through in their lives to pick the right road to travel. In the poem "The Road Not Taken" nature comes into play when he introduces to the reader two separate paths that the speaker comes upon in the woods. The speaker is faced with the decision of which path he will choose to travel. The speaker has to choose only one path, therefore leaving one that he will not get to experience.
