Sea Lions are extravagant animals that are useful to the Marine environment and the society of others. They are very unique in different ways. For example, their body structure is different among others. The Sea Lion has a long tail which enables it to propel through water. Sea Lions are also popular in circus acts and in aquariums from their intelligence. These organisms are very essential in ways no one can imagine. The Sea Lion�s scientific classification is Kingdom Animalia, Phylum Chordata, Class Mammalia, Order Carnivora, Suborder Pinnipedia, Family Otariidae, Subfamily Otariinae. Their characterization is due to their presence of external ear pinnae or flap, long front flippers, and their ability to walk on four flippers on land. Sea Lions are popular because they perform in unique aquariums and zoos due to the fact they can swim up to 25 miles per hour. They also perform tricks such as throwing and catching balls on their noses. They have a great sense of balance which is a reason why they can do this.
