Response to �Imagine� John Lennon wrote this song to tell others about his ideal world and while some may say he was dreaming, he hoped they would join him and live as one. Imagine is a song that describes a world without countries, religion, possession and discrimination. Imagine became an anthem for anti-religion and anti- war movements. This song and the controversy that followed it caused the government to look at John Lennon as a revolutionary. Not all people agreed with John Lennon and the song �Imagine� but they all had to admit that they all had imagined. John Lennon describes his version of a utopia but also said �the message I am trying to deliver is not new and has been there for years and still is.� I agree with that quote because there are people in this world that wished the war against so call terrorism is not necessary and that we all as human beings should come together and stop killing each other. There are people who disagree with this song. They think that if there were no religion, possession, heaven or hell, all people would still not live as one. ......
