A Balancing Act Before man, nature had a perfect balance. Since man, however, nature has been used as a source for his gain. This has had a dramatic effect on how nature works, and it has forced humans to take a look at how they and nature interact with one another. Over the years as technology has become more advanced, it has improved the ability for humans to be able to see the result of their actions. Now, humans need to take what they have learned and reevaluate their relationship with nature. A human’s role in nature needs to be based solely on respect. In order to live, humans must take essentials from nature. As they take, they must do all they can to understand how those actions affect nature, and what they can do to lessen the harm they have caused in doing this. In order for this to happen, man must take time to observe nature to gain that respect. Then he must take the knowledge he has acquired to find new ways to preserve it. One of man’s greatest accomplishments is the development of technology, yet this has become the primary tool to see the effect man’......
