The background on why we Hispanic students drop out of college I don�t know if you have noticed yet, most likely you haven�t, but right now as you are reading this the number on Hispanic college dropouts is increasing. I ask myself, why? Why do we have to be lower than other classes? Why is always us to start the statistic? I personally think it is because we have grown in a custom in where it is expected of us and it is not surprising to others. Although some may think this way I think otherwise. I think that it is not based on a specific race it�s based on the individual himself. From my point of view there are three major points I will be discussing that I believe are the biggest influence in Hispanic student�s dropouts. Money, family, and lack of ambition are the main reasons on why students from the Hispanic background are leaving their education. Being a college student is a very stressful thing.
