Everyday I work with minority clients, as I face the challenges to build a working relationship with my students. All of my students are African-American and some of them have been in and out of trouble. Most of my students are being raised by a single parent or another family member or are in placement for various reasons. It has been a very challenging school year with all of the educational changes and the student population this year is very different from the populations in the past. I was hoping this book could offer me some incite on how to deal with all of the changes and how to approach them successfully.
