Chelsea Forst December 13, 2006 Genetically Modified Foods Do you know what is in your food? I know I don�t. But I have recently discovered a lot about what is in my food. A lot of the foods we eat have altered DNA, better known as Genetically Modified foods (Gm Foods). This DNA is altered by something called a �gene gun�. Although to me these GM foods are a great way to keep production flowing well, a lot of people are against them. The people against them refer to the foods as �Franken-Foods�. They argue that the government should put warnings on food�s saying whether or not they are modified, or jut not modify them at all. There are also people that support the GM foods, there is no scientific evidence proving that these foods affect our health in any way. I believe genetically modified foods are a huge benefit to our society today, this will be proven with the background information and the arguments I have gathered.
