Everyone knows that children are the future, treat them well and let them lead the way. They are God�s gifts. They are beautiful, they are wonderful. They are an asset and can be our old age pension, when planned and properly prepared for the future. However, the level of unplanned pregnancies have reached to an appalling state and are causing great concern amongst the well wishers of this nation � including myself. One of the most ugly and vivid realities that is plaguing our country is the number of children, teenagers, grown boys and girls on the streets on a daily basis, despite the many calls to have them placed in an institution for learning as well as family homes. Alarmingly, the level of unplanned births continues to rise. This is a added factor for all of us to be concerned about. another blood curdling tale was told of a two day old baby who was found in pit latrine.
