The art movement of Post-Modernism will be explained alongside an artist from this particular movement, in this case Tracey Emin. I will investigate the art of Tracey Emin. Specific pieces of her work will be analysed in order to understand how her art work reflected the concepts of Post-Modernism, and how events in her personal life affected her thinking and way of creating art. The Post-Modernism movement is a term used to describe art which is thought to be after or in contradiction to some aspect of modernism. Post-modernism and modernism are very hard to tell apart as many people argue against a division in the two.
