Introduction The negotiations course was one of the most enjoyable courses I had so far in my MBA. It was interesting because it allowed me look at my strengths and weaknesses in a given area. At the end of the course, I got a pretty accurate picture of the skills I have to build on in addition to the attributes I would like to obtain. Preparing a self-appraisal paper is nonetheless difficult but I will try to paint a reasonably honest picture of my strengths and weaknesses as a negotiator. I will also, in hindsight, try to see how I can improve on my strengths and cover my weaknesses to the best extent possible. Throughout this paper, I will examine and explore the various topics covered in class, what I learnt, and foresee what challenges I will face as a negotiator.
