INTRODUCTION Starting with I would agree with Cabrera (1967, p.2) who states that a revolution is the time when people use force and violence in order to destroy an unsatisfactory political system in order to build a new one. Thus, a revolution has two stages; the destructive, which is most of the times the period of war and rebellion against the ruling authority, and the stage of the recantation and reconstruction of the existing laws, which mainly means the use of force against the social, economic and legal system. Indeed, the Mexican Revolution did not differ much from that definition. It was the revolt of the Mexican people against the oppressive and inequitable governance of Porfirio Diaz. However, it is very complicated to explain the real cause of the Mexican revolution and to identify the results of the revolution, as the truth lies in a synthesis of factors.
