My personal definition of marketing is the process of realizing there is a demand for a product or service, using tools, media, and other information sources available to advertise and educate potential customers of products and services a company is trying to sell, and developing the best methods of supply for this demand. �The American Association (AMA) defines it as �an organization function and set of process for creating, communicating and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders.� (Carpenter). Microsoft Network defines marketing as �the business activity of presenting products or services to potential customers in such a way as to make them eager to buy. Marketing includes such matters as the pricing and packaging of the product and the creation of demand by advertising and sales campaigns. (MSN Encarta).
