Tompkins Mr. Juan Dugan Phil 201, DLP 31 March 2007 To begin such an arduous task of deciding which religion I would choose to complete this academic research paper, I needed to reflect on my life experiences. Being a soldier, I have come in contact with many of different faiths; Buddhists, Hindu�s, and Muslims (Islam), to name just a few. As I reflect on those experiences, I�ve chosen the Muslim (Islam) faith as the religion in which I will attempt the true presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ in hopes that I may successfully lead a Muslim to Christ. Khalaf Al Tarqi. That is his name. Khalaf is a native �born Kuwaiti and a devout Muslim in which I had the honor of serving with in 2005 at a small Army post in Kuwait. I was a National Guard soldier that volunteered to serve on active duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served with the Vermont National Guard.
