Sociological Perspectives on �Crash� The movie �Crash� begins with showing difference between the lives of many people. �Crash� is based in Los Angeles, California where the movie tracks the volatile intersection of multiethnic groups such as; African Americans, Caucasians, Asians, Latinos, and Arabs. All of the ethnic groups are striving for one thing, to over come their fears as they crisscross in and out of other people�s lives. Unknowingly all of the people are tide together in a gray area throughout a long chain of events. The movie cycles through these groups of people lives throughout the video. The movie also shows how each group has a toll on the other groups. Several stories interweave within these two days in Los Angeles involving a collection of inter-related characters, a police detective with a drugged out mother and a thieving younger brother, two car thieves who are constantly theorizing on society and race, the white district attorney and his irritated and pampered wife, a racist white veteran cop, who disgusts his more idealistic younger partner, a successful Holl......
