Capital Punishment: The Proponents, The Opponents, and Execution As the world matures the number of humans is increasing. Women and men flow in and out of this world, significant as a whole, but almost meaningless as an individual. Many people believe that only a superior being can judge them and the decisions that they make. However, judges and government officials do not qualify as “The superior beings.” Although individuals may not agree with capital punishment, it is necessary for one to comply with the law or face serious consequences. Capital punishment, or death row, is a method of reprimanding and instructing others to follow the law. There are the proponents, people who believe in capital punishment. The opponents, who are against the death penalty. Finally, execution, which is how, the government carries out the death penalty. People are born into this world and one day will die for many reasons such as fate, sickness or an accident. Then there are the humans that choose to do a capital crime and that person gives the government the right to choose how and when he or sh......
