According to the Oxford Advanced Learner�s Dictionary (seventh Edition), the word culture can be defined as the customs and beliefs, art, way of life and special organization of a particular country or group. Culture also can be defined as the beliefs and attitudes about something that people in a particular group or organization share. �Sociologists prefer a much broader, less subjective and impartial definition that can refer to the values, customs, and acceptable modes of behaviour that characterize a society or social groups within a society.
