� Through out history the United States has been known for the freedom and rights given to its civilians. This was established by the fore fathers in the way that they gave the people the civil rights as part of the Bill of Rights to assure there civil liberties� would be safe. These rights were given by the fore fathers to the people of the United States and put in the hands of the past, future and current governments and leaders to keep safe. One of these rights include no cruel and unusual punishment, a subject that has caused many controversy, whether punishments that were sentenced are justified or yet unconstitutional. Having limitations on civil liberties at any time is wrong and unjustified because it is unconstitutional and violates the rights that were promised to people with no limitations included. Although we are promised to no cruel and unusual punishment there are many incidents with in our court and nation that have either justified or did not justify the suspensions of cruel and unusual punishment.
