John Locke born on August 29th 1632, He was raised by both parents under the Puritans religion. His father was the justices of the peace in Chuw magan, and the county lawyer. His mother was the daughter of a tanner and was a great beauty. He grew up during the English civil war, and later in 1652 he enrolled at the Christ Church College in Oxford, as an undergraduate after leaving Westminster School in London. A prestigious and well know school in London. He achieved his bachelor�s degree in 1656 and his master�s in1658. John lock also was awarded a bachelor�s in medicine in 1674. Locke taught and lectured in subjects such as Greek, rhetoric, and Moral philosophy. Locke disagreed with many of the topics that were taught at the university. Locke, after reading books by Descartes, acquired a strong interest in contemporary philosophical and scientific questions and theories. In 1666, Locke accidentally met with Lord Anthony Ashley Cooper, 1st of Shaftsbury. Cooper came to oxford looking for a treatment for liver infection, and from then on, this lifelong relationship and assoc......
