In our growing world, we are using electricity more and more. We are also getting low on our unrenewable energy sources like coal and oil. While we struggle to find a way to produce energy effectively through renewable sources, we are going against a growing demand for electricity. Over the years, we, as a country, have become greedy. We revolve around electricity: computers, cell phones, lights, refrigerators, microwaves, and much more. Creating a way to produce energy efficiently is one of the main goals for the future. I want to be an electrical engineer so that I can help in the process of coming up with a way to make energy work for us. I want to be part of the future. Electricity has really changed our world. We have gone from oil lamps to light bulbs, written letters to e-mail, and bedtime stories to television. Not all these �improvements� have actually made the United States a better place.
