ABSTRACT: In this present investigation, it will be analysed the life and , through further analysis , the character of Elizabeth Bennet, whose life portraits what Jane Austen herself lived through her life. The main analysis reveals the similarities of Jane Austen life and Elizabeth Bennet ficticious life that were portrayed by the writer, in order to offer us a clear picture of the information that people is available to find in her biography. Jane Austen portrayed in Elizabeth Bennet. Jane Austen had a very interesting life as well as Elizabeth Bennet, the main character of her book Pride and prejudice(1813). Apparently, if Jane Austen biography is deeply analysed, people can percieve the sense of portraying something of Jane herself in the female characters in the book. In every Bennet sister there was a characteristic of the writer in each girl. Elizabeth was more like her. There are many aspects of Jane Austen�s life that we can contrast with Lizzie in the book.
