A Pass to Broken Dreams Throughout many decades the mass population has relied on the mass media to help them better understand the world around us. The morning paper and the nightly news have paved ways for hundreds of publications and a variety of news related shows to form. Television, magazines, films, radio, and the internet, to name a few, are sources of media in today�s contemporary culture. Unfortunately the media has made us obsessed with transforming our body images, and has also contorted our mind! We as a society have created an environment so fixated on an image, that those with power give approval for being thin and disapproval for being fat, creating a generation of women so self conscious about their body image, that it is affecting their health.
