There is always something that one misses so much and longs for when leaving the birth place, and that exact something helps one not forget who s/he is and what does s/he aim for in life. At least that is how I can explain my tie with my birth place. First built in late 15th century, circa 1495, the painted mosque in its baroque style stands proudly in the center of the city showing its antiqueness as well as the architectural perfectness and the artistic uniqeness. According to some sources the mosque was built in 1459, making it the very first ottoman mosque built in Macedonia, though other sources say that it was built in the mid-17th century.
