I read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, a novel by Mark Twain. It takes place in the mid 1800�s in the St. Petersburg, Missouri. The main characters are Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, Joe Harper, Becky Thatcher, Aunt Polly, and Injun Joe. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is about a mischievous, curly haired boy who has many exciting adventures. Tom always has to get out of trouble with his strict Aunt Polly. Tom lives with his Aunt Polly and cousins Sid and Mary because his mother died. Tom gets into a lot trouble, at school, and at home. Tom has many adventures with Huck, Joe, and Becky. One of his adventures is running away with Joe and Huck to play pirates on Jackson�s Island. After they are away for a few days everyone thinks they are dead. Then they turn up for they�re funeral. Another adventure he has with only Huck. They went to a cemetery and witnessed a murder by Injun Joe. Then Muff Potter is said to have done the crime. He goes to jail and is put on trial. Then Tom testifies in court that Injun Joe committed the murder. Muff Potter is freed. Tom and Huck go to a haunted hou......
